Oh WOW !! Seriously? Well I hope that is the case for my 2nd RFE notice. I guess we will have to wait and see...I was expecting to get my NOA2 within the next couple days so fingers crossed :) Thanks for the glimmer of hope, Takeo!

Sincerely,
Ramsey

So sad and so angry today sad.pngranting33va.gif the USCIS are a bunch of retarded pricks!!!!!!!! I hate them so much right now ranting33va.gif

I got another RFE...

On May 15, 2013, we mailed a notice requesting additional evidence or information in this case I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E)

How does that even happen? Why wouldn't they submit all requests for evidence at the same time? I bet they need a different kind of evidence now. Arrgghhh, what a horrible day I'm having sad.png now it's going be another 3 days till they mail it, another 9 days until it gets to me, another 2 days until they get it and another 7 days until they respond (3+9+2+7=21 days) 3 weeks of my time, completely wasted .... so a big thanks to the dueche bags at the CSC for being, once again, incompetent idiots.

Sorry for the rant guys wacko.png I needed to get it out of my system...

Wow, that does suck Ramsey, hope it is something easy and quick. I agree with you, they should send all RFE material to you one time but apparently, they just do whatever they want and there are no consequences. ranting33va.gif

Yeah, it's complete BS ! Anyways, I will have to wait patiently, I spoke with my fiance earlier and she calmed me down ... I am really hoping that it is what Takeo said about there being a glitch in the system ! I'll be praying for that tonight

Sincerely,
Ramsey

Guys, I am a April 23 RFE and they received my response on April 29. Is there any hope that I can receive my NOA2 any time soon? How long does it take?

Will we be "touched" in the meantime?? :(

I may have to cancel travel plans because of this delay! We are almost in our 9th month now!!!

Oh wow! They received your RFE reply on April 29 and still haven't gotten back to you? That's definitely on the long side...Usually they turn those around within 2 weeks. I'm pretty sure that you should be receiving your NOA2 soon, I just don't know what's taking them so long with the RFE?

Stay positive, I know it's hard during these rough times but all we can do is pray and hope for the best. Good luck to you buddy smile.png

Thanks sooo much!

This means a lot to me. I really need the support. The whole process is taking too long and it gets even more frustrating to see people from December and January be approved after only 4-5 months of wait when I have already waited close to 8 months!!!!!!!!!!!

When will I get the RFE??? and will I get another one? Will it get tended to soon? They dont even answer. When I call them I get nothing. It is horrible! They should deal with mine first before they start approving January filers!!!!!!

Did you try calling the actual USCIS? (1-800-375-5283) or are you trying to reach the CSC somehow? I've usually had good luck trying to get through to the USCIS. Just have your WAC# ready. When they give you the update on your status, you need to hit the button that allows you to talk to a representative (they say: "If there is a problem with your case, please dial x") If that person can't answer your question, then tell them you want to be transferred to the higher level, they are definitely a lot more helpful and have more power in accessing your file.

Give it a shot and let me know what happens :)

Sincerely,
Ramsey

Yes Ive spoken to them multiple times, I just start smashing all the buttons until it gets to a representative. Afterwards I give them the WAC and they wont give me more information than what is already available on the USCIS website after I login. It's useless. . .

I've been reading other posts saying that the USCIS system was glitchy and possibly sending out RFE notices when there was none. I'm not saying this is the case for yours, but just a heads up.

Hi Takeo!

do you know if many people reported this (which posts?) and if so, how was it resolved with the applicant if it was a system glitch?

We received an RFE just now. I'm so furious as we spent thousands of dollars on a lawyer and we're over the 6 month mark now. Wedding and travel plans are now in jeopardy. The lawyer has been completely useless throughout the process - hadn't a clue what was going on at CSC, never heard of Visa Journey website, no realistic idea of processing times on the Dublin side, no advice, no support. If our RFE today was a system glitch, the lawyer was still useless! Arrrgggghhhhh!

wow - I needed to rant - fuming!

In the same boat as you, also made the mistake of hiring a lawyer, never found this site until long after we submitted our application. The RFE was sent to the lawyer which caused a delay as they had moved their office and the mail had to be forwarded. I sent them the RFE response the very next day overnight, now waiting, once again, for the lawyer to forward it on to CSC. If we had done everything ourselves the response would have been sent out two weeks ago.

Wish I could say something positive but cannot. :(

I recall reading a couple post from other members who were saying there were glitches, can't recall the thread title. I'm not trying to imply all RFEs recently are glitches, it's just others had a spread apart RFE (not the typical double notice) and someone said it may have been a glitch. I do not know if it got resolved or not. In your case, since you got your first notice, it sounds like an RFE. You will get two notices, one to say it's coming and another when they supposedly mail it, the wording on both is the same. Be happy that your case was touched in 6 months, many of us with NOA1 from July to Oct ended up waiting 8-9 months. Sorry that it might mess up your plans, hope you get your RFE resolved soon.
