CSC just notified us they have received our reply to the RFE on 6th May so hopefully we will hear soon.

I'm sure you will hear soon! It seems that CSC is quickly working through the RFEs. I was expecting to wait about a month before hearing anything about my RFE response, but today I decided to check just in case...and we were approved! I wouldn't be surprised if you heard by the end of the week.

Tell me about it! 9 months today since our NOA1 but we have hope that we will hear something within the next month or so. You have only just gone over 7 months waiting and you should also hear from your RFE very soon.

Others have said before, when all this is done and you get the rest of your life with your fiance then this time waiting will seem like nothing

I know. In my head I think, what's a few extra months??? But living it day by day is an entirely different story. I'm sure I don't have to tell you about it though. Many people have been waiting longer than I have. I just didn't realize when all of this started how difficult it would be

Just logged in now...and approved!!

We mailed our RFE on April 29. They received it and updated it in the system on May 2, and today, as of about 30 minutes ago, we've been approved! CSC is FINALLY working again. After filing in July 2012 and being depressed and hopeless for months, 9 1/2 months later we are finally approved!!!!! I've refreshed the page about 5 times because I just can't believe it.

I got a text this afternoon that CSC received my RFE reply today, 5/6. I mailed it Express so they better have it . Igor's list is full of RFEs, that's a very good sign for many of us who have been waiting a long time for CSC. Tomorrow makes my 9 months from NOA1.

Congratulations on your approval buddy !! You guys have been waiting for quite a while and it is refreshing to know that the CSC finally approved your K-1. Good luck in the next few steps (with the NVC and the Embassy), hopefully that goes by smoothly.

I was wondering if anyone knows how long an RFE typically takes from the time you get the second notice until you receive the hard copy in the mail? I received my second notice on April 29 (8 days ago) and I still haven't received anything in the mail. Furthermore, I am in California, probably less than 100 miles from the CSC. Should I be worried? Is there any way they can e-mail or fax me the information?

I received my hard copy a week after the second electronic notice. I doubt they'll email it, but I think I read somewhere that if you haven't received it after 15 days they would mail you another one

Thank you! I'm calling USCIS now to see what my options are. I spoke with the 1st level and she mentioned that I will have to wait until 15 days have passed so she can actually do something about it I told her that I will need to speak with the higher level because I don't want to wait that long if this is something that got lost in the mail...so now I have a 2-hour wait in line hehe

Wow, you are in California and still have not received it? I was worried (received second notification on Apr. 30th) that I had not received mine yet either, called them and they told me the could not do anything until it has been 15 days. This is killing my fiancee and I, all of this waiting, feel like we are at the DMV from Hell.
