yes i did im thinking im just going to mail it again but this time with the ups, and a letter telling them why im sending again the letter, i also email them but i havent got any response, im tring to be the most positive that i can my fiancee told me thta it seems theres 2 type of scenarios the one where it goes fast and smooth and the one where it takes a looong time and with complications i guess thats our route, which sucks sad.png

Yeah, it really does suck for us who have to go through this long and complicated route! I would definitely recommend sending it again but I'm not sure if UPS send to PO Boxes (you need to check on that). I usually send it via USPS Overnight. I was just checking the website now to verify where the exact location is, it's very convenient.

By the way, here is the address for RFE that they gave me:

Department of Homeland Security

United States Citizenship and Immigration Service

California Service Center

P.O. Box 10590

Laguna Niguel, California 92607

Attention: RFE

Good luck!

Sincerely,
Ramsey

Awesome! I got chicken skin just reading it! I know there were times when you questioned when this day would come, no thanks to your incompetent lawyer. Take time to celebrate, then get back on track, there's a whole new bunch of things to do. They will mail your petition to the NVC, you can call there to find out when they receive it. By the time I called, it had already been assigned a number and was sent off to the Embassy. There is a trick to tracking your case from the NVC if you know the exact date it ships and which embassy it's going to. I tracked my package and sure enough, 2 days later my fiancee got her packet 3 which she is working on. We have been through these rough times together, let's all keep in touch through the next stages if we need support!

Praying for the others who had April RFEs!

Hey everyone,

So I just wanted to give you an update on my case. Unfortunately, the USCIS and CSC continue to be highly incompetent on my case. I received my 2nd RFE on Saturday, and just sent it out this morning (apparently this time they want a letter of intent). I don't understand why they wouldn't just say that in the first RFE and save me about a month of nerve-racking frustration. Anyways, they should be receiving my reply by noon tomorrow so that's not a problem. The problem is that I just received a text/e-mail saying that they updated my case status and when that happened, I went to check My Case Status on www.uscis.gov and this is what I found:

On June 3, 2013, the post office returned your document I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E) as undeliverable. If you do not contact us at 1-800-375-5283 within 180 days from June 3, 2013, this document will be destroyed and you will need to file a new application with fee.

What on earth are they talking about? What could be the meaning of that? Is this just an error? or did they mistake me with someone else? I am on hold right now to speak with a Tier 2 ISO to clarify what happened but it just frustrates me so much how a branch of the US government could be this stupid.

Ramsey, any update on your case?

Thanks for your concern, jenafid, the only update on my case is that they received my RFE reply on June 4. Nothing after that, just praying that I get the NOA2 soon :(

Sincerely,
Ramsey

This is ridiculous! I'm so sorry to hear that you're still waiting for this foolishness. Things really do move fast after the NOA2. I'm hoping you can experience it soon!!!

Glad to hear that, I hope I can experience that as soon as possible, I'm praying for this week! How is your journey going? Have your papers arrived at the embassy? Did it take long? I really hope I can get a visa within about a month of my NOA2 ... I know it's very optimistic, but I heard that the embassy in Lebanon is very fast!

Sincerely,
Ramsey

Our file was shipped out of NVC exactly two weeks after NOA2. I called the embassy last Thursday (they had received the file on Monday) and was able to schedule the interview for June 20th. I think there was a cancelation and that we were able to slip into that slot because the Casablanca consulate is currently scheduling interviews for the first week of July.

Our interview will be exactly 5 weeks from NOA2. I think one month might be optimistic, but two months is realistic. Do you have everything ready for the next step?

Wow, 5 weeks, that's pretty impressive :) My fiance will go get all her medical stuff as soon as she hears word that we have the NOA2. I made the mistake (back in January because I foolishly thought I would have my visa by May) of buying our plane tickets back to the USA on July 22, but it's looking more and more like that won't be possible. More than likely I will have to postpone my trip but I don't even know when to postpone it to. Hopefully it won't cost me too much but oh well, I guess it's the price I pay for making plans before even having my visa!

Sincerely,
Ramsey

Every step of this journey is stressful. I'm really hoping you hear something soon. I'm sorry to hear that you had purchased plane tickets. Have you contacted the airline to see about rescheduling?

My fiancé had to sweet talk his way into a medical so fast because they usually schedule them for two weeks out. He's scrambling to get all of the civil docs but it looks like all will be ready by the end of this week. We were waiting to get the civil docs because in morocco they expire in a couple of months.

I will call them tomorrow to inquire about postponing the ticket, I've kinda hoped that maybe there is a chance that I may not have to change the reservation but as the days go by I am slowly losing hope. I'm glad to hear that you guys were able to schedule the medical quickly! I will tell my fiance to schedule it immediately after we get the NOA2. The civil docs are also a challenge, and they need to all be translated from Arabic hehe I will continue praying, and checking the USCIS case status every night !

Thanks for the support :)

Sincerely,
Ramsey

JD&Coconut, thanks a lot for asking about my case. Unfortunately, I have absolutely nothing new to report. My RFE reply was on June 4 and today it is June 18 (14 days later). All this uncertainty is so draining, I am at a point where I am expecting to receive a 3rd and 4th RFE from them because of their incompetence. The crazy thing is that my RFE reply was literally 2 pages, my letter of intent and my fiance's. I wish we knew more about why the USCIS are so horrible at what they do? :(

Sincerely,
Ramsey
