Hi all,

We have not received our NOA2 yet but, are compiling all of our paperwork for the interview now. My fiance will be interviewing at the New Delhi embassy. I would like to know:

1) What paperwork do we send directly to the immigrant visa dept at the embassy. Is it only the applicant statement and DS-230 part 1 form? According to the website this is all they need for packet 3 and it can be emailed.

2) According to the embassy website all additional forms and evidence should be submitted on the day of the interview. Is this the same procedure that others have taken?

3) What needs to be submitted to VFS then?

I have read on here that some people have been put in AP because they needed to submit evidence. They actually had the evidence at the interview but, failed to submit it beforehand causing the AP. My fear is that if we wait until the interview date then we will be put in AP before even having the chance to state our case. I am thinking that we will just mail copies of everything when we send packet 3 to be safe and then bring the originals to the interview.

I would appreciate any advice please. Thank you :)
