My case was aporoved on march 27, 2013 and until now no case number and nvc havent received it yet. I have been calling nvc and uscis back and forth but nrver got my case number. Nvc says that we havent recieved your case and send us a scanned copy of ur noa2, which I did two weeks ago. And on the other hand uscis says we dont know where ur case might br. It seems like no one knows where is my case? ?? Here I'm stuck in between both offices crying and begging for help from everyone. I lost my sleep and got onto anti depressant medication. Nothing is helping and I hope that someone could help me here or somehow guide me on what to do.... I even contacted my congressman that helped me get my noa2. I havent heard nothing feom her as well. Soooo lost and confuse... someone plz help me :(:crying::help:

No need to panic, it takes nvc forever to get hold of the case. Its in their mailroom waiting to be entered in their system is when those reps know they got it. Mine took over a month to get case number.Relax, they have it in their facility

I know the waiting is hard but that is what you must do. Please try not to panic just yet, it takes a long time sometimes for them to get round to acknowledging they actualy have your file and they are just not going to take the time to go look for it manually. Give it while the end of next week and I bet they have it :)

The reason I'm panicking is because its been a month that I am waiting for it and when I called uscis it says we dont know :( and that is hard for me to believe that they are being so irresponsible and can't actually help anyone.

it seems normal for me , i got approved 13 March and NVC still they d'ont have the case file from USCIS yet , no solid answer from both offices , we are just waiting

I'm to sorry to hear abiut ur waiting and just feeling ur pain now I know its hard :(

We never even heard back from our congressman!

It seems that the service centre is so busy processing the petitions that Rfe's and everything else are having to wait a little longer than usual.

Hopefully everything will start to move for all of us waiting soon.

Exactly they are always busy doing nothing lol. And I hope the same for all of us to be reunited with our loved ones.

Everyone pls be cailm and be strong. I am sorry for all this happening to all of us.

My case was approved March 13th. I got a letter for the San Antonio office in Texas, March 27th stating case sent to NVC

The case went from NBC to them. It took a little over 9 weeks for it to get to the NVC.

I am so very sorry from the bottom of my heart for the waiting and the pain, Pls I ask every one to pray

and pray more. Give it to God almighty.

I was told that they are behind and it will take another 30 days. then nothing. I have called and called NVC, dept of state and USCIS

ask for tier 2 officer and got lucky and one was nice and we talked and was told where it was. That person sent an email to the NBC

director on my behalf. I also I sent scaned NOA2 to the following places:

Public.Engagement@uscis.dhs.gov this one did alot of good and they will help tell you where your case is.

NVCInquiry@state.gov

uscis-casestatus@dhs.gov

Someone helped me with this and I hope this will help someone else.

Yes I lost sleep and went with out eating. When I gave it to God above and left it with him.

Trusted everything will be ok and fine.

I also tried to stay very cailm when talking to anyone, and they heard my concern and finally

God had control.

Now the case is at the NVC...

Just know it can take from 2 weeks to even 10 weeks more or less. I have heard some people have taken

even longer. I do pray that everyone will get the chance to know where their case is.

I do say many prayers for all of my fellow vjr's and that this will move on swiftly for

everyone going thru this and the time gap from NOA2 and the NVC will get shorter and shorter.

Good luck to everyone.
