IV Fee PAID but still IN PROCESS

Hi,

We received IV bill on 4/17 and paid IV Fee on a same day, my bank cleared the transaction on 4/18 however; NVC's payment status still show IN PROCESS. I was able to print the cover page for DS-230 however; the payment receipt is IN PROCESS mode. How should I proceed? Should I go ahead and submit DS-230? or Should I wait for payment status to change. I saw couple post with similar issue including a post speculating NVC purposely not recognizing payment on time to delay the processing. Is it really true? Anyone else recently faced similar headache?

In short... the problem is known about and it is not expected to delay case processing.

I'm a dual US/Hungarian citizen (both by birth; Hungarian citizenship verification TBA), and my husband is a dual British/Irish citizen (by treaty) from Northern Ireland. We are atheists.

28 Jun 2013: POE Houston

08 Jul 2013: SSN received (at SSA office)

07 Aug 2013: Green Card received

27 Feb 2014: Whoa, life happened. Planning move "back home" together to Republic of Ireland by end of April.

29 Apr 2014: POE Dublin through Heathrow

15 May 2014: Received formal residency/work permission (GNIB card with Stamp 4, one year renewable) for the ROI

You do not need to wait until the portal says paid to submit the IV information via mail. Send away.

- STUPID RFE ( G-325A) :-/ : 01/25/2013

- RFE sent: 02/03/2013

- NOA-2 Approval: 02/14/2013 (On Valentines day ;-) Lol)

**NVC process**

- Received date: 02/25/2013

- Case # generated: 03/08/2013

- AOS fee bill & DS-3032 inst: 03/16/2013

- AOS fee paid & DS-3032 Email sent: 03/19/2013

- IV fee bill invoiced: 04/02/2013

- IV fee paid: 04/03/2013

- IV package sent: 04/08/2013

- IV package delivered: 04/11/2013

- AOS package sent: 04/16/2013

- AOS package delivered: 04/19/2013 (Quite late though :-/)

- Checklist rcvd: 04/25/2013 (PCC + AOS Package(false one) )

- PCC Obtained: 04/29/2013 (Not submitted to NVC)

- Case completed: 04/30/2013

- Interview date rcvd: 05/01/2013

- Case forwarded to Mumbai Consulate, India: 05/04/2013

I just talked to a phone rep at the Department of State. She said that what the NVC see on their computer is different from what we see at the payment portal. So if you did pay, and the payment cleared your bank, and it's been a day or two or longer after that, then they should show you as paid and go ahead and process what you sent in. I don't know what effect the website issues will have on invoicing or paying.

They updated their system this weekend. Hopefully they fixed the problem. :) Sounds like they did.
