Submitting AOS Package without current Income

Hello Everybody.

After long wait I am about to submit my AOS package. I have a join sponser because I don't have any current income. Also my previous last 3 years incomes were also below Poverty guideline's level. I have shown my bank balance in I864 form as my assets but it is also not upto the requirement level. So I am crossing my fingers, that my AOS will be approved with having join sponser. Please advice if anyone of you have any doubts. As I am searching for a job right now, I am thinking to attach a letter with the AOS package explaing my current situation that 'I am looking for a job and I will provide my pay stubs during interview if I get a job by that time.' Please advice if it is OK to do or not.

you be okay as long that you have co-sponsor...who meet the poverty guidelines. makes sure to ask that person for his tax return and proof of USC.

I see no harm with attaching that letter. They will approve your AOS based on the documents and income of your joint sponsor anyway.

Is your JS an immediate relative of your petitioner? NVC requires proof of relationship too, so you might want to indicate in your letter the relationship between petitioner and JS and attach evidence (ex. petitioner and JS are siblings, they need to provide copies of their birth certificates showing common parents). If a distant relative or friend, then just indicate relationship and attach JS' proof of US citizenship (ex. copy of US passport).

Thank you. Hope the extra document(letter) won't raise extra questions or burden while interview in case I won't able to show my pay stubs. That is the main concern here.
