Do you believe that the fetus is alive?

It is alive within the body that hosts it. And if removed from that body, it would not survive. I am not an advocate of late term abortions.

So if it is alive in the hosting body and when removed it dies. But that isn't killing it?

An abortion is not ending a life. It is ending the potential of becoming a life. Again, excluding late term abortions.

I'm still curious about your statement that "many" women use abortion as a form of birth control.

How many abortions are performed in the US each year? And why are most of them performed, medical necessity or unwanted pregnancy?

At what point to you consider a fetus to be alive?

You tell me why most are performed. I've looked up how many there were, but how do you know what the circumstances were behind the decision? Is there some kind of statistic you're looking at that I can't find that says "many" women just have an abortion whenever they get pregnant?

Does having an abortion once to end an unwanted pregnancy mean that you are "using" the system as birth control? An abortion isn't exactly a walk in the park. I highly doubt "many" women are having multiple abortions because they keep getting pregnant.

I consider a fetus to be a living being if it can live outside the womb. Most abortions are preformed before that point.

And others consider life begin at the moment of conception. Each chooses which definition best suits their needs, beliefs etc. How many abortions are performed in the US each year?

Great. That's their beliefs. Their beliefs hold no power over me and the choices I, or other women, make.

I don't know why I need to do your homework for you, but it seems roughly 1 million abortions occurred in 2011. And nearly 90% of those occurred in the first 12 weeks of pregnancy.

Are you telling me that terminating a pregnancy at 12 weeks is the same as killing a 5 year old in Pakistan?

So do you think that most of those abortions were medically necessary? Not just, oops, I don't want this baby? I doubt that we can get the statistics for that, but that's a high number for medical reasons. I'm not telling you anything, I'm making a comparison. A life is a life, but if you don't consider a fetus to be a life it's a moot point to argue. Personally I don't see the logic.

And they are free to do that. See how well pro-choice works?

I think in their eyes one human is being allowed to murder another which would put it closer to current murder laws. This entire subject is all opinion so it's going to be difficult to say someone is or is not wrong

I have no idea how many were medically necessary and how many weren't. I couldn't venture a guess. And I honestly don't care. I want abortions medically available for those that need them and those that feel it's the best choice for them.

I'm not sure why so many are concerned about the life and rights of an unborn fetus at 12 weeks but couldn't care less about the life and rights of the woman carrying it.

Nor do they give a damn about the child once it's born.

I do not support government having control over a woman's reproductive system. Never have, never will.

So they are anti-choice. They want to impose their beliefs on everyone else. I have a problem with that.

If a drone kills a pregnant woman, is it taking one life or two?

Of course you don't care, it doesn't fit your agenda. And I don't mean that as an insult.
