do they cause more?

I have no idea. The title of this topic seems to suggest that drones are causing the deaths. What is really being condemned is any type of bombing or attacked against an enemy where there is any possibility that someone other than those specifically targeted get killed or injured. So logically, people aren't against drone strikes, they are against any strike at all.

I know. My bias. I'm just another RWNJ that supports Obama's policies. Wait.. What?? Now I'm all confused.

no, your bias towards mother jones. come on.

either that or you didn't at all read the introduction that mother jones wrote to summarize the piece from the bureau of investigative journalism. because mj did not at all say that the "other" referenced by the 75.7 percent of strikes as "Killing people in Pakistan with flying robots" ..

That's my point. There would be no strikes period with a 100% guarantee of no innocents being injured. The drone has nothing to do with it.

i don't really get the necessity in pointing out that drones have nothing to do with drone casualties.

i don't know if you've noticed but putting words in people's mouths is the status quo style of quite a few vj p&r posters - so maybe you should take your own advice.

It's simple math, a+b=c. If someone wants to ban assault weapons which account for ~300 deaths per year and are in favor of all other guns which claim ~10,000 lives, this person is really for banning all guns. Same for the drone strikes. If one innocent death isn't acceptable from a drone strike, it isn't acceptable anywhere. Period. End of story.

it's almost like you've got it all figured out and you're getting impatient for everyone else to accept your line of thinking as their own.
