Well, apparently I'm the only one that takes issue with Michelle Obama making it a national issue,

when, in fact, she should have castrated Rahm Emmanuel for not fixing the problem within 2 months after 'coming' into office.

Look, the political machine that fed The Obamas got Rahm into office, and Rahm is falling down on the job.

Anyway - the only folk that are gonna fix Chicago, are the folk that live there. I made mention (somewhere on VJ) that if the city gave each mother a fully charged touch-maser and 4 pairs of zip-ties, along with some published benefit, the mother's would clean up the city in a weekend.

I searched this whole thread and you know, I didn't actually say that.

Many statistics I post tend to spike in areas that are demographically above average in people of color but that's probably a coincidence when murder rates are 7-10X higher and has absolutely nothing to do with the type, color, or the values of the people who live there. No way. It's the fault of people who live far, far away and have never been there and those people are ALWAYS rich, greedy, and white. Every time.
