Because it is ground Zero of the failed socialist democratic agenda. Chicago is everything the Obama admin stands for and is the net result of years of liberal leadership.

I love it when they write articles like that. Anyone with one and and half sense knowswhat would happen if we moved into those neighborhoods in force and started cracking heads and locking gang bangers up.

There would be an out cry from Jesse and Al like never seen. The ACLU would be filing law suit after law suit. There would be a picture of some rosy cheek 13 year old that got arrested by accident. V J P and R libs would be foaming at the mouth....

I say give every mother a touch-taser and 4 pairs of zip ties, and let each mother know she can 'come out' of the border after bagging and tagging at least 3 gang members.

It could work, you betcha !

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

"The black folks" (your words) are on a downward spiral of dependence while being told it is the rise to independence and in this delusion view help as a free handout and reject all other possibilities. You, yourself, for example, were seen to complain when the right to self defense is offered or "marketed" (your words) to the "black folks" as if this is not a god-given right for everyone, no matter how rich or poor or no matter what background or race to equally exercise.

This is the reason why you and folks like you can't have a single discussion about race when it comes to black people, you love to lump us into the same category.

It's also the reason why the GOP can't get enough AA support.

Nope. Collateral would imply something that was damaged unintentionally. In this case, the individuals are made to pay for the error of their ways, or their inability to meet the standard, as an example to others of what their future could be. Of course, you have to offer an alternate course that is more appealing than the course you are trying to deny the others.

i think that prostitution should be legal. trafficking should not. drugs should be legal. trafficking should not. take the power and means away from the dealers and the pimps. put money in rehabilitation, safe houses. focus on arresting traffickers not addicts. most women who prostitute are addicts, they're not doing it to support their families.

You have to eliminate the demand. As long as there are customers out there, the market will find a way to find them. America's addictions are destroying other countries in the world that are being exploited to satisfy American's desire to destroy their own lives. The money is that lucrative. Legalization has been a disaster so far in California, and the backlash is getting more intensive everyday.

The marijuana "dispensaries" are attracting an undesirable element, much like winos hanging out around liquor stores, and trolls hanging out around adult bookstores. When you cater to the base element, that is what you attract to your establishment. More and more communities are passing ordinances to restrict or ban those quasi-legal drug dealers from setting up shops in their towns.

and similarly ending prohibition has not been tried either..so potheads hanging out around dispensaries equates to disaster?

I guess I have a hard time equating weed and alcohol. In my mind weed is about .5% as harmful as alcohol to society. Making it legal would probably decrease that number even more.

i'd take a bunch of potheads hanging out around a dispensary over a bunch of drunks spanging in front of the liquor store any day.

It's also the reason why the GOP can't get enough AA support.

I would venture that a statement that says the right to self defense is offered or "marketed" (your words) to the "black folks" as if this is not a god-given right for everyone, no matter how rich or poor or no matter what background or race to equally exercise. is neither racist nor polarizing.

The inclusion of the black community made in a general statement of equality or equal footing regardless of any class or race is so offensive to you in your world of entitlement and victimization though that you just have to rise up to attack it. WHICH said attack perfectly demonstrates my point. Thank you.

The NRA which is the mentioned reference isn't interested in "AA support" anyway. They are interested that the AA community recognizes and if they choose avails themselves of their rights to self defense granted to them as they are granted to everyone else. If that offends you OH WELL. Skin thickness grows with trauma. It's called a callous. Who knows you'll stumble out of this site having developed a few.

That post was specifically addressed to you and your previous complaints because the NRA 'dared' to market their policies on these rights and freedom to equally exercise these rights in, and again I quote, "your community" unquote. Your words. Shall I go get them?

So: you put youself into a community, seperated that community from everyone else, then lumped yourself, in that case, into that separate community, appointed yourself as the community Lorax and spoke for them, then chose to :crying: because it got noted as an example that the community does not want any help, or equality, or assistance that does not come with a financial benefit or handout.

i don't get it.
