hi vj members, I just want to ask if anybody here knows...just got my noa1 for my aos application and the first 3 letters for my receipt numbers are MSC...does anyone here knows or has idea where my application would be transferred? I am living here in Wisconsin...so hope somebody out here can help..thanks a lot...God bless us all...

7/14/11 - I-129F sent

7/19/11 - NOA1 :)

8/7/11 - Touched

12/10/11 - received RFE in mail :(

12/24/11 - touched

12/27/11 - touched ( again..... )

1/3/12 - sent reply to RFE

1/6/12 - USCIS received the reply to RFE

1/24/12 - another RFE:(

1/27/12 - received RFE hardcopy

1/30/12 - sent reply to RFE

2/4/12 - my love arrived here to celebrate our birthdays together

2/8/12 - NOA2....thank you LOrd.....

4/12-13/12- my medical schedule ( thank God, I passed !!! )

5/2/2012- interview date :-)

8/22/23 - sent 221(g) docs

8/23/12 - USEM received my 221(G) docs

8/30/12 - VISA issued (yesss!!!!!)

9/5/12-Visa on hand ( yehey!!!!)

10/8/12 - flying to USA...

AOS / EAD APPLICATION

3/28/2013 - packet sent to Dallas lockbox

4/4/13- pacet received

4/23/13 - biometrics appointment...done!

MSC is the national benefits center. All AOS applications go there.

Moved from K-1 process to adjustment of status as this is not a K-1 process and the OP is in adjustment of status.

it's in Missouri Service Center (MSC) where National Benefits Center is.

MSC is the national benefits center. All AOS applications go there.

No. The AOS process is different from the I-129F petition process. Your AOS package will either stay at the NBC and be adjudicated there, or, it will be transferred to your local USCIS office if you're selected for an interview. In a few weeks, you'll receive a letter for the biometrics appointment at your local CIS office.

already did my biometrics yesterday..so now im up for waiting for my ead..hopefully wont take that long....

Yes AOS sometimes gets sent to CSC for " faster processing " So it is not that different and the OP was right. It could be sent else where for processing.

My case # starts with msc too.i called the iimig they says its in Missouri.. i filled my aos last oct 2012. After biometrics i dont here anything from them.. dont even have interview date.what does it mean?

It means its taking a VERY long time to process for some reason or another.

Try calling USCIS again and if you get no response contact the ombudsman with your case information and ask what is going on and why you have heard nothing in so long.
