The CO didn't tell my husband if he was approved or denied. He just gave him the paper with the website on it to check his visa. He told him to wait at least 2 weeks to check his case number. He also told him he didn't know how long his administrative processing will last. They then asked for his passport befor he left and he paid the DHL fees. We have had updates on our case on DOS, but mostly have been because of my inquiries and my congressman's inquiry. I'm hoping that we will only be in AP for 6 months(fingers crossed)

Same question. Did he tell him that he was approved?

No, just told him he would be in AP and to wait at least 2 weeks before checking our case on the website.

This is what DHL changed to for my husbands visa delivery a year ago. He lived in Alexandria. So it will be a little different for those in Cairo or in the countryside.

For those people that live outside of Cairo the DHL tracking states different things. Also the dhl updaes to my email stopped working 3 weeks ago so I had to check it everyday

For Alex people it will say

1. Shipment picked up-means you left your visa and paid dhl at the embassy

2. Scheduled for delivery as agreed-just means the visa is not in the passport

3. Departed Facility in Cairo-Egypt-Means your passport is in DHL's hands

4. Arrived at Sort Facility Cairo-Egypt-means package is in DHL mail room

5. Processed at Cairo-Egypt-means they are deciding what truck to put it on

6.Departed facility in Cairo-Egypt-means one dhl truck will deliver it to Alex DhL

7. Arrived at Delivery Facility in Alexandria-Egypt-means it is in alex waiting for someone to drive the truck

8.With Delivery Courier-means it is on its way to deliver visas in ALex

9. Signed by______means VISA IS IN YOUR HANDS!! WoooHooo
