Wow and I thought 12 years difference was a lot before I met my Fiance in person ;) It turned out we get along so well it doesn't matter at all.

So I understand finding one's soul mate in a person that's far away from our own age, but on the other hand... don't you folks fear the future a little? (the question is for those who are in love with the older person)

18 Years apart in age and two years into living our "Happily Ever After".

We were CR-1, it went smooth as silk and we filed for removal of conditions this week.

Age is meaningless in the immigration process for the most part unless the age difference between the petitioner and beneficiary would be considered a taboo in the beneficiary's native country. Those situations will likely result in escalated scrutiny of the couples evidence.

I think my case is somewhat unique, as I've usually seen the older partner petition for the younger one.

I am the US citizen petitioner, and I am exactly 11.5 years younger than my fiancee. She is still at child-bearing age, though.

I just hope that at the interview, they are able to understand that some men are attracted to relatively older women. I'm simply not attracted to most girls my age.

Good for you!!!
