Ok, so I'm clearing my head, and looking up what to do for the next step. Thank you, everyone at VJ, because I have a LOT more confidence than if I had to do this alone, or had to pay an outrageous amount to pay for an attorney. Instead I used my money to book my trip back to see my fiancee and her awesome family!

I wait a few days and call NVC, or could I email them?

After checking my status online at USCIS.gov--even more than usual--I checked upon returning home. . . put on the Knicks & Celtics game, and forgot to glance back at the USCIS page. . . Post decision activity! I've been since waiting for an email or text for more details. Could it mean my NOA2 or RFE or what? I'm freaking out! My jaw literally dropped, and I couldn't breathe or speak!

This has to be the cutest approval post I have seen! Congratulations!!!

Thanks, everyone! Mahalo! Salamat! I've read a few stories about the Interview in which no one really says, "You're approved!" I hope I don't get left hangin' when that moment comes.

It's starting to sink in. God is awesome! There have been so many posts that say they forgot about the agonizing wait-time once they got their NOA2. . . . as others have said, "Welcome to the next step!"

Thanks, everyone. Mahalo! However, I'm still on edge, because of the phrasing/wording and inclusion of the denial part. There was no highlighted part that said Referral for Evidence, so I'm hoping for the best! I'm slowly letting my guard down, and hoping and praying that we do have our NOA2! Woohoo!

That bottom part is a generic explanation of the top part. IF (and only if) the top says denied does that denial information mean anything. According to your posts, it said you were approved, so only the approval portion holds any meaning in this case.

Thanks, UK. That makes a huuuge difference to my confusion! And Akitarani--that's awesome--my NOA2 twin! Please make a distinction between "excited" and "exited!" heh heh! Good luck to you on your journey, and thanks everyone for making me feel like part of an online family. Can I call all of you when it's time for the Money Dance at our wedding? We're honeymooning in Vegas--heh heh!

it is an approval i assure you:) The first paragraph said it so...the denial part is just an automatic thing they include in the notice for whichever applies. but surely, it is an approval and i am happy for you. you can breathe easy now:)

is is just a standard phrase that they put in EVERY notice, approved or denied.

In your case, it says explicitely "approved", so STOP WORRYING, you have been approved!
