I called NVC on Monday and was told about case complete, also wait for the email regarding the interview appointment. My parents underwent a Medical exam already, and they have to wait at least 8 weeks for the sputum result at SLEC Manila. Probably the results will be released by Mid or Last week of June. And based on the threads, it normally takes 2 months to get an appointment for the interview, most likely the appointment will also be until June. But I don't know the date. Will the SLEC contact the US Embassy to let them know about the pending medical exam?

Yes, you can call to find out if it's case complete.

Yes, NVC will email you (petitioner) & the applicant that they completed it's processing of the petition and that an interview appointment has been scheduled for the applicant. This is the "Interview Appointment" letter that the applicant needs to print & bring to the medical examination & interview in the US embassy. It will list all the documents that you have submitted to NVC & what documents you may need to bring for the interview. It also has instructions to go visit the www.ImmigrantVisas.state.gov to read more about the interview preparation instructions.
