I'm thinking to bring my mom from our country to USA, now I'm a citizen, my problem is I have to think what options do I have in order to support her in the future in other words I need to know how she can have a medical insurance or where she can live something that we can afford.

You would need to pay for her medical insurance, that would take quite a bit of research to find good coverage and rates. Its very expensive.

You would need to research the area you live in, look up homes for elderly people or look up small 1 bedroom apartments, depending on how you want her to live. It would be cheaper for her to live with you in your home though.

That is only the downfall of bringing our parents to live here when you have to think about the medical support. Unless they are still strong to work, then they can get their own medical. Note that, some publi clinics offer free basic care for a LPR.

- 06/27/13: IV package sent

- 07/23/13: Case complete

- 09/09/13: Interview Date

- 11/08/13: Visa Issued
