You could do these things:

1. Check Igor's list

Filter Form: I-129F Visa Type: K1 Visa Service Center: California Service Center Show:All Petitions Sort By: First NOA

You can scroll down until you see the I-129F K1 Filers at the California Service Center - All Petitions from: 2012-10-01 to 2012-10-31 Sorted by First NOA

If you do that, just look at the similar NOA1 dates and you'll see the other applicants who are active on this forum. (Not the total of applicants).

2. You can search by your receipt number on the official USCIS website.

Search for a few numbers up and down - until you see the ones with an I-129F application.

For example:

WAC1xxxxxxx02

WAC1xxxxxxx03

WAC1xxxxxxx04 ("your receipt number")

WAC1xxxxxxx05

WAC1xxxxxxx06

WAC1xxxxxxx07

This way you can find people who filed on and around your NOA1 date and see what their case status is.

I think you looked at the wrong section.

When you sort by Approved files and then scroll down to the ones with NOA1 dated from 10/01/2012 - 10/31/2012.

You'll see that - so far - 11 october applications have been approved. :)
