Biere.

i'm in the beer business. my boss had me bring a dozen potential quebec beers back to taste after one of my visits to montreal. so i've had quiet a few local beers - all complete shite. even unibroue, all horrible.

honestly, that's the only reason we live in the u.s.

yes, it does make it the best. every life decision should be made based on personal preference. you're the one that has to live with it.

because we changed it.

I think I just understood SMOKE's point of view.

You are saying "America is the best" similarly to how someone would say "Chocolate is the best flavor of ice cream ever!"

You know, as opposed to someone saying "Russia is the largest country in the world!"

What would Xenu do?

If it weren't for my job, I'd move to Canada with my wife in a split second. There is absolutely nothing in the US that I can't get in Canada, and for the most part I find it to be a cleaner and more friendly place to live. The only thing keeping us here is my job, period. I've got 20 years in this company and I have accomplished quie a bit since being here.

That sums it up for me. If I could make what I'm making here somewhere else, I'd be gone. My dislike for living here has me focused on saving as much as possible, as quickly as possible, so I can leave as soon as possible.

I just got to that conclusion as well. The argument with him was so frustrating because we weren't arguing the same topic it turns out.

American IPA are the win. I could talk a while on the good folks at dogfish head.

But I find Canadian domestics (especially the fake IPA Alexander Keith's) to be MUCH better than American Domestics. Prices will destroy your pocket though.......

Quebec is THE only good thing about Canada. Otherwise it's basically the 51st state.

Not true, Toronto (and from what I hear Vancouver) Asian markets/restaurants are the win. My wife used to take me to TNT (asian Market). So much fresh seafood and produce and so cheap.
