Very sorry, I believe you have not good news for your visa. I am going to write something here that is reality and Please, I am not judging you.

You can see the email that they are sending it back to NVC... and NVC will send it back to USCIS.

You can try to contact the VFS and/or Embassy with phone or email and see if they still have case and try to solve it there in Embassy.

Other point is.....

After receiving the case, USCIS will send letter to your spouse and he has to wait for that letter and then, couple of months later, they will either deny the case or ask for more information [by sending NOID, notice of intent to deny](and they will send him letter explaining all the issues that embassy and/or investigation had found). Most of the times, they will give both of you a chance to address the issues found by Embassy and/or during investigation.

You both need to respond to that letter in one package together.

NOTE - One of buddy went through the same thing and (after receiving NOID) he responded back to USCIS by addressing all the issues found first time, his case was approved in 5 working days after sending all the documents to USCIS...It took 5 days from USCIS to NVC and NVC forwarded it to Embassy in Delhi in other 5-7 days..... she got interview date after 5 weeks, he attended the interview and it was approved at the interview, they are living happily for last 11 months in US...

I mean to say that there is light at the end of tunnel.

You have taken the first step "to try to contact them again". I have no information about a number for Embassy.

I think you can try to call main number (get the number from on-line) and try to speak to a consular officer.

I don't know how they are going to react... you did the right thing...

It is hard but I got to say "Stay positive"

You can always email me for any advice or direction.

On the basis of your interview and subsequent review of your case, You was determined to be ineligible for a visa. Therefore, your petition will be returned to the National Visa Center (NVC) soon, with a memorandum explaining the facts of this case. Once NVC receives the petition, it will return it to the approving office of the United States Citizenship and Immigration Service (USCIS). You will be getting the formal refusal letter soon from the Embassy.if some body know pls advise

*** four topics regarding the same issue merged. Do not create more than one topic on a question- if you have more info or follow-on questions, post these as a reply to the original question. ****

You seem to be getting conflicting info.

The email in post 8 says you were denied and the case is being sent back- presumably that email is from the embassy?

The email in post 11 says AP, which is normal, many people from your part of the world get AP (additional name and security checks, or checks into the bonafides of your marriage) after the interview for a few weeks or months.

I would try to call the embassy and check.
