Speaking of people who like to complain about everything here is something funny I saw just now. Would people actually sue if these things weren't put on the labels??

"Americans are lawsuit crazy. And the very real prospect of being sued has caused some companies to be extra cautious and overly obvious when it comes to warning labels for their products. I think that was due to that case where that old lady spilled scalding hot coffee on herself and received second and third-degree burns. I may be wrong about that, but I certainly don't remember McDonald's coffee saying anything about their coffee being hot before then -- which, of course, may have led to the entire incident. But it makes you wonder...isn't coffee usually hot?

Actually it is quite common, and an automatic reaction for many, to try and catch a falling knife.

It is one of the first things a trainee chef is told.

It just drives me crazy how people will sue for anything! But it's great entertainment when watching those court shows on t.v.

I got some nasty burns by trying to catch a piece of pizza that was flying in the air after trying to be un-stuck from the 450 degree toaster oven. It came down cheese-side-first on top of my fingernails. I realized I shouldn't be trying to catch something like that and just as I tried to pull my hands away it fell on them. Not fun having huge blisters surrounding my fingernails and knuckles.

...but I wouldn't sue the pizza company for not warning me about it! In this day and age I probably would've won some money if I had tried to, though!
