This entire process is enough to make you break down in tears. Some of us have been waiting for years for an NOA2, some of our relationships have deteriorated, some of us get too nervous at the interview, some of us have too little documentation, some of us are crying right now because the one person we love is across an ocean/ in a different hemisphere/ on a different continent. It is heartbreaking knowing so many of us have to put on a brave face for other people to scrutinize our relationships, our finances, when all we want is the person who makes us feel complete. Yet we tread on for love. We get rejected, told to "WAIT IT OUT". And lets be honest, it hurts.

VJ is really a safe place for us all, where we can say "I know how you feel", "It's going to be ok", "It'll work out, I've been there".

Good luck everyone.

Indeed. I understand how it feels. Life is full of uncertainty eh? But we have no choice but to enjoy every moment and stay positive, God's ways is not our own and if we let the negative feeling drown us, it's like letting it steal our joy while waiting. I hope and pray you'll get your approval soon. :)

Proverbs 3:5-6

Trust in the Lord with all your heart

and lean not on your own understanding;

in all your ways submit to Him,
and He will make your paths straight.

In GOD we trust. † = ♥

Sat here waiting on our RFE letter.It hurts to be still on phase 1 after so long. Hope it comes soon so we can see our mistake, correct it and hopefully be another celebrating our NOA2 soon.

My fiance and I have a strong relationship built on years of friendship before we became more than just friends. Our relationship will survive but it is a long painful wait :(

I am at the NVC stage right now, and I am so nervous about the interview (I am the petitioner). I have gotten most of my documents, but I am still nervous. I have to travel by bus for over 10 hours just to get to the interview. But I do so in order to be with the one I love.

Your words really hits home. I feel the same way. My hubby and my journey is going as predicted like clock work as we are moving steps closer to the interview stage. Also, we'll be reunited in a few months. But it is still so hard to be apart (9+ months) so VJ is a nice goodnight reading post to come to and a little comforting to know I'm not the only one who is in my situation.

Thanks for sharing & good luck to you too!
