Hi to everybody!

I have a question regarding RFE: how much time do they usually give you to reply RFE? Is it any fixed time or it may vary?

My fiance got the email alert about RFE on April 13, but still no hard copy of RFE letter describing what they need. He moved from CA to RI, but he used to get any letters from Cali sent by regular mail within a week. I'm kinda worry about being late with the reply. :blush:

The time they give u depends on what docs are needed..We received RFE notice Feb. 14, 2013 by email and received hard copy after 4 days and was given time to submit it until May 17, 2013

I-130 Submitted ---- 09/16/2011

NOA 1 ---- 09/21/2011

I-130 Approved ------ 04/30/2013

NVC Case Number -- 05/14/2013

Medical Exam ------ 05/28/2013

Case Complete ------- 08/06/2013

Interview -------- 09/09/2013

Visa Arrived ---------- 10/17/2013

POE SFO ------------- 10/21/2013

Delays maybe inevitable, but misery is optional!

RFEs are almost always given 87 days for a response.

Yes he updated his address and got the confirmation letter from USCIS within a week.
