BIG, BIG risk. If they stop you and check dates at return POE your on the next flight home and need to apply from scratch. If your travel is for an emergency then possible an infopass (spelling?) would help.

No. your AP needs to be approved and in your hand before you travel outside the US.

 Best advice!

not a good idea. how about your AOS got deny for some reason? now your in big big trouble.

immigration will check your greencard/AP at the airport(i.e at the arrival before u get out of the airport u need to wait in line to be process by immigration officer. usually they will ask how long your staying in that certain country. if your going to the philippines. they have special line for immigrant and USC..and another line for OFW)

perhaps try to make infopass. right there they will give u an emergency AP. goodluck!!!

How about the GC? If my GC will arrive and im on travel..can someone mail that to me? The use it in my POE? Pls advice..

No. Your green card needs to be approved and in your hand before you travel outside the US. If you leave the US before you have your AP or green card, you will be abandoning your AOS.

Never mind. You have already filed AOS. It will probably take 3-4 weeks for you to receive it in the mail. At least it did for me!
