I am trying to be very patient here, but my patience is running out fast. after the response I got this morning, I am extremely irritated... I sent my Congress an email right after this response.

Dear Sir/Madam,

The Office of the Citizenship and Immigration Services Ombudsman (Ombudsman’s Office) has reviewed your inquiry.

While we understand your concern, our review indicates that your case is within normal processing times as provided by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) on its website. You may monitor processing times on the USCIS website at https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/processTimesDisplayInit.do. Because your case is within normal processing times, our office will be closing this matter.

Please be advised that the California Service Center is processing I-129F petitions filed/received on or before July 18, 2012 and your petition was filed/received on October 9, 2012.

Thank you for giving the Ombudsman’s Office the opportunity to assist you.

Sincerely,

WM

There are really only two things that will usually cause the Ombudsman to help: your case is beyond the listed processing times, or USCIS have made an administrative error.

I understand your frustration but take a look at Igor's list. There are still quite a few July petitions waiting to be processed and August is not at the half way point yet. CSC is cranking out NOA2's at a high rate of knots just now. Hopefully your wait will not be too much longer.

You ain't kidding...holy #######, the number of approvals today is breathtaking. Might be more today than the past 4 months combined.

I would wait and see at this point. When CSC finally does slow down again, and you still don't have an RFE or an NOA2, then I'd get worried.
