Hey guys,

I got my RFE on March 2nd and sent the document on the 13th. No changes on my case status or anything yet. Still says Request for Evidence Sent.

When do I call to find out what's going on??

I heard you wait about 60 days until they say to call.

So, around May 13th, if still nothing, I call the USCIS Customer Service #, correct? But if I do, isn't the case right now in my field office? They are the ones who sent me the RFE, and they are the ones who I sent my doc to. Another InfoPass is so annoying :bonk:

09/29/2012 - Mailed/Filed for I-130 via USPS Express Mail
10/02/2012 - I-130 Form received
10/03/2012 - E-Notification / Text Message Notification NOA1
10/04/2012 - USCIS Cashed Check ($420)
10/13/2012 - Received NOA1 in Mail
03/02/2013 - Case Status changed to RFE [exactly 5 months since received]
03/05/2013 - Paper RFE - Case at Field Office
03/13/2013 - Mailed out requested RFE

04/29/2013 - APPROVED!!!! Case Status Post-Decision Activity

NVC STAGE (81 Days)

05/03/2013 - Received NO2 in the Mail

05/06/2013 - NVC Received Case

05/22/2013 - NVC assigns case # and IIN

05/28/2013 - Gave NVC hubby's email address, Choice of agent email sent

06/04/2013 - AOS I-864 bill generated & paid ($88)

06/05/2013 - AOS bill shown as paid

06/10/2013 - Choice of agent email accepted

06/10/2013 - IV Bill generated & paid ($230)

06/16/2013 - IV Bill shown as paid

06/26/2013 - Sent AOS + IV packets

07/23/2013 - AOS Checklist sad.png

08/26/2013 - CASE COMPLETE!!!!

08/22/2013 - Blood Test & X-Rays Done

08/28/2013 - Medical + Retake Blood Test

10/24/2013 - Interview Date [APPROVED!!]

10/29/2013 - Passport/Visa Pickup

10/30/2013 - POE - Newark, NJ

Removing Conditions

11/08/2013 - Received ss card in mail

08/14/2015 - Sent out I-751, Petition to Remove the Conditions

09/15 - Recv'd temporary green card paper extended for 1 year

03/24/2016 - Received biometrics appt in mail

03/25/2016 - Early walk-in for biometrics (NO LUCK FOR THAT DAY, approved for following Monday)

03/28/2016 - Biometrics & fingerprints taken

07/01/2016 - Received notification to receive green card within 90 days ; 07/07/2016 - Green card received!

Oh Katherinn, I was so hoping that you had already gotten a positive word by now!!I'm so sorry that you are still waiting...I too am waiting, but not as long. I sent back our RFE info and they received it on 4/17...so I know I have a long way to go. It's so HARD to wait!! Keeping you in my thoughts!!! :star:

That's good you got notice of them receiving it! I don't think you have to wait too long now :thumbs:

Katherine, I just received a RFE too 4/23/13* I hope I haven't received the actual letter in the mail, just the email. I don't know what type of information I am lacking I hope its nothing serious and we hear back from them soon.. :unsure:
