Originally we could have filed in March. But due to life we haven't had much time to get things organized and together. Hopefully we'll be able to get it all soon and get it sent off. I'm sure I'm probably missing some things, but here's what I have together so far. Any suggestions of things I might want to include are most welcome!

  • I-751 form
  • Cover letter
  • Copy of Marriage Certificate
  • Copy of green card
  • Tax transcripts from 2011 and 2012 (we didn't file anything in 2010)
  • Electricity bill statement from 4 different months at two locations were we have lived (only in husband's name)
  • Cell phone statements from 4 different months (showing both names)
  • Cable statements from 4 months (showing both names)
  • Copies of driver's licenses of both my husband and myself
  • Copies of joint credit cards (showing both names)
  • Copies of car insurance listing us both and our vehicles
  • Copies of health insurance cards with both names
  • Copies of our Sam's Club membership cards with both names
  • Copy of health insurance plan information of all plans since 2011
  • Copies of dental insurance showing both insured under same policy since 2011
  • Lease agreement
  • Copies of credit card statements showing cards (from photos) being active
  • Copies of bank statements from 4 months
  • Copy of birth certificate for our son, born after our marriage
  • Photos of us together and with son.

Everything looks great, but i rather i would include statements covering the period of marriage instead of only 4 months.

Where I stated four months, it's four different months starting from the earliest record I can access online, which is usually either late 2011 or early 2012. So I picked four months in that time frame from the beginning to the most recent.

We used a bank letter and current statement, with credit cards etc. They will look at the totality of your filing, normal stuff any married couple would do to combine their lives.

In Arizona its hot hot hot.
