We are just filling out I129f, her 14 and 16 year old daughters will come to USA in 1 year and the older one after she finishes HS.

Do we need to do any more right now than include both names in the I129f?

Does that placement of names now on 129f reserve there future visa to be with us in USA?

When will the Govt. need there birth certs and passports and medical ect?

I would appreciate any experience anyone has with this... Thank you, Mike

I personally don't know how the "follow to join later" thing works for K visas. I reported this to the mods so they can move it to a place where you'll get better answers.

You have two options- the kids can come on a follow-to-join K2 within a year of the K1. This is easiest and cheapest. Or, assuming they are under 18, you,as the USC step father, can petition for them via the I-130 and get them here that way. If she as a greencard holder petitions, it takes much longer.

Welcome to the forum.

Here is the link to the DoS Nonimmigrant K-1 Fiance(e) FAQs:

There you will find some answers to your preliminary questions about K-2 visas.

Good luck.
