Could you please explain to me what is the meaning of this email? My case never been touched until yesterday when i checked my status online and said that last update was on 08/31/06, but i saw the changes on my status yesterday. I did my biometric on 08/30/06. Thank you!

On August 14, 2006, we received this I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS, and mailed you a notice describing how we will process your case. Please follow any instructions on this notice. We will notify you by mail when we make a decision or if we need something from you. If you move while this case is pending, call customer service. We process cases in the order we receive them. You can use our processing dates to estimate when yours will be done. This case is at our MISSOURI SERVICE CENTER location. Follow the link below to check processing dates. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to register.

That just says when they got your application. Your "last touched" date can change but the status of the appliction might not. It's not uncommon for several touches, or the last touched updated to change, prior to the case status changing, which will change what it says about your case.

When your "last touched" date changes it just means someone is working on your case. It doesn't mean that status will change.

11-03 11-07 11-11 and 11-13 EAD touched.

11-15 Day 123 (Day 68 since the RFE) EAD approved 11-14 email! AP still waiting.

11-16 10 AM Aos approved, 2 weeks to the green card we hope!

11-16 2PM EAD card in the mail.

11-17 Email "Welcome letter"

11-20 Welcome letter in Mail

11-27 Another "Welcome" email dated 11-27, changed from 11-17

11-29-06 GC in Mail, Were done for 1.75 years!
