Besides vacations etc... before I met my hubby.... I spent about 2 days in the US with my hubby....

but he spent way more time in Canada with me but I have no idea how much time all together... , it was usually 2 days or so at a time about every other month for just over 2 years...

The question is "How much time have you spent in SO's country?" , it doesn't ask how much time you spent with them in their country.. So I chose:

more than 10 years (though not necessarily all on one visit)

because I have family in the USA and used to live only an hour away from the border in Quebec, Canada and used to go to the states ALL the time. Been going since I was a child. Used to even make day trips from Montreal to Plattsburgh, NY to visit friends of mine at the University there.

I-485 AOS Filing (shortened timeline):

I can't imagine marrying someone I spent 10-14 days with, EVER!@ Not to mention knowing NOTHING about their country/culture/background, which IMO, is HUGE.

I lived in England for 2 years & met him there.

Seriously couldn't agree more, woman!

To answer the poll, I've spent 3 years over there. It's great that I was able to see the Dave in his natural habitat

For him, collectively thru the years, it's been several months over here.
