I suspect the answer to this will be 'no', but I was wondering if there's any way to filter the K1 timelines to show them for every service center EXCEPT Vermont. For obvious reasons!

I'm becoming rather addicted to checking the Nebraska/California/Texas timelines (roughly every 30 seconds or so :D ... that is an exaggeration, honest) to see if CSC have sent out any new NOA2s lately... then thought I might be missing a much easier way of doing it. So in the unlikely event that it is possible, can anyone tell me how?

2005 - We met

2006 - Filed I-129F

2007 - K-1 issued, moved to US, completed AOS (a busy year, immigration-wise)

2009 - Conditions lifted

2010 - Will be naturalising. Buh-bye, USCIS! smile.png

Unless you want to do 3 searches, no.

3 searches is what I already do! Thanks for answering - I thought that would be the case but thought I might be missing something (having only discovered how the thing works the other day - very useful!!), so thought it was worth asking. :)

I usually go to Immigration timelines>Timeline functions>Timeline search , select K1 and type the date of NOA2 I want to use as a filter. I find it easier to understand that "View K1 visas"

Ahh, looks like you don't need those (particular) timelines anymore.... congratulations!! :D

I was just coming here to post the same suggestion. It would be an excellent feature to add to timeline search options.

I was wanting to see how my time line looked to others. So, I logged off, cleared the câche and cookies and came back to VJ as a guest. I then found "me" and clicked on timeline and was told (again) that either I don't have one (which I do) or that I haven't auto-linked it.

My guess is, I haven't auto-linked it. How do I do this?

(The reason I want to know, is that some day I would like to direct He to it to give He a practical idea of what it's all about. He is not a member here and depends on me---the non-USC---to find the info for He to implement; which I don't mind. He does have to work longer hours than I.)

Click on the timeline link from your personal profile, or even the link below your name on forum posts - there should be an option there to link it.

I have tried that umpteen times and it doesn't work. I do not see an option to link it. My timeline can be displayed somewhere, though, because the member who collects them (Gary'n'Luz? I think) has found ours and included it in their list (I been. I saw.)

I have made some screen shots of what the steps are that I follow if you think that looking at them would help to figure out how to do the autolink.

Basically, if I click on the Timeline under my posting it takes me to a screen that says: No Timeline Found! Note: This member has not auto-linked their timeline or does not have one. To auto-link a timeline to a profile simply follow one of these options:

1. If you already have a timeline in the timeline section [which I do], simply click here and enter your email address. [Done]. You will then be forwarded to your timeline. [Yes, this happens.] Scroll to the bottom and click submit. [Done.] Your timeline will now auto-link to your member profle. [No, it doesn't.]

Option 2 is for those members who do not yet have a timeline.

java script:emoticon(':help:', 'smid_14')

:help:

Would someone else try clicking on the Timeline under my posts to see if it's just me that can't see my own (even when logged off and coming back as a guest)? And, if you can see a timeline, please tell me what it says for the estimate to Interview?

Cat sitting on a mop. I love that. java script:emoticon(':)', 'smid_4')

Now it says that I can't edit my own post?

Here's what I would have rather said:

I would like to point out that the screen that opens after I "click here" says:

VisaJourney Timeline login page

New Users: Enter your email and click the Add / Edit button to create a timeline.

I am not a new user.

Also, the Submit button says: Submit Changes.

(The other option is to view The List.)

You need to be logged in to link it. It looks at the cookie for the forums ans if you are not logged in it wont know who you are :).

When I am logged in, as I am at this moment or I wouldn't be able to post, I am taken to the same page---the one that I am taken to if I try to view *your* timeline (since you don't have one). I login, go to a post, click on the Timeline link which goes to the page that says I have no timeline, go through all the steps to "edit" my timeline---without doing so, of course---scroll to the bottom and Submit Changes and be right back where I started like I hadn't done anything.

Why would I have to be logged in just to view it? I don't have to be heishe to view theirs.

Would someone else please look at it and tell me what it says for the estimate to whatever it is that it gives estimates for? Obviously, it doesn't work for me. :(

Just for laughs: I am using Windows XP SP2. I have Zone Alarm firewall. AVG anti-malware. Ewido anti-malware (even though the upgrade gave me AVG). Norton Antivirus 2002 (because they still honour it). Firefox browser 2.0 where I accept cookies from sites until I close Firefox.

(Whoa! I just figured out how to insert emoticons---correctly)
