Yeah but he said he said some people (I assume himself) don't have the luxury to look for a job that doesn't require drug test because of the tough economy? I only ever cared about drug tests back in the ol' college days........... oh the college days..........

Stick to LSD then you don't have to worry about it.

No joke. Who the heck is drawing blood?

Ya, I guess you're right blood testing is not that common, but maybe in the future when companies work out how flawed the pee in the cup test is, they might start requiring it also.

Ya, a kind of freedom based principle. You know how the US is supposed to be the land of the free, so for me at least, I believe that freedom should extend, within reason, to allowing anybody the right to put what they want in their bodies and not be fear discrimination just because they their drug of choice is Marijuana and not legally obtained Vicodin for example.

I see. I think the tax payer or business owner has the right to know whether or not you are a habitual drug user before extending benefits or employment.

As has already been shown in Florida, if anything, drugs testing has resulted in extra costs to the state, and the only beneficiaries were the private clinics employed to do the testing.

You think all illegal drug users are obviously illegal drug users?

Are you one of those people who absolutely loses their sh*t in a checkout line when they ask you for your zip code?

I don't lose my stuff, but I politely refuse unless they have reason to need it. I don't allow them to collect any personal data unless there is areal reason to need it.

Example at Polo factory Outlet

Clerk- Sir could I have your PH #

Me-No sir I don't share that info

Clerk- We have to have it to start the transaction

Me-I am paying cash there is no valid reason for you to need my number

Clerk- I have to have a number just make one up,,

Me- No I refuse to do that, it's the principal now, that you can not make a sale without a phone number get the manager

Manager- Sir I am very sorry but I can not override it

Me-even for a cash sale ?

Manager-Yes

Me-good Bye

I left 300 dollars worth of goods lying on the counter

As has already been shown in Florida, if anything, drugs testing has resulted in extra costs to the state, and the only beneficiaries were the private clinics employed to do the testing.

So not true !!!

I guess phone numbers are worth alot of money to them. Kinda makes you think that if they're willing to let $300 walk out the door.

What? Why do you hate my right to privacy? Ain't your business where I am going, is it?

Trade off: you keep your privacy, but you don't get a penny of my insurance when I rear-end you because I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOU ARE DOING.

A phone number doesn't make sense. I can't see why they would ever need it.
