It takes between 10 and 20 business days for them to review both the AOS and the IV packages. After that they may issue checklists for anything or they may give you a case complete.

My DS-230 was sent on 2012/16/04 I know it will take 2-3 business days to be delivered.. Once its delivered to the NVC how long do they take to review and close case?

Thanks in advance for your responses

Could someone else share their experience in regards to this topic please? Would be much appreciated.

great question !

Please study Saylin's Spreadsheet - you'll find the answer in there.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

I actually did not know that I could have emailed them.. Now I wish I had known..

You can't email them. There are certain countries that can do online forms, but Jamaica isn't one of them. The only part of the NVC process you can do via email is the DS3032, but if you're already sending in your IV package, you've already done that. After arriving, it takes about a week or so for the IV package to get accepted.
