I agree with that. However, you still need enough firepower to take the battle to the enemy. But, I do agree, we don't need to be everywhere putting out pissant little brush fires here and there.

Who said anything about "defeating anyone" anyway? I only said that armed citizenry can't be defeated. ESPECIALLY by liberals who sit around wetting their pants about all the imagined 'someone elses' they can send out to do it.

In your imaginary future with a fascist American govt, you'd be fighting the US military you're cool with heavily funding...... not libs. I'd say the military is made up of libs, conservatives, and everything in between. Mostly conservatives though in my experience. How are you going to beat the military? They have organization, supply lines, heavy artillery, air/sea support, and some of the world's best commanders/soldiers. You have a few small arms.

Not the liberals. I just found it interesting that 2 people shut down an entire city and used up so much manpower If this went on for a few more days there would be no LEO'S around.Some were on the job 25-30 hours with little rest. .

I believe the older brother was on an FBI watch list, he more than likely would not have been able to get a gun through legal channels.

Most bomb making materials are strictly regulated, which is why most mass murders go for the easy catch, a gun. Ever since McVeigh and the OK city bombings, the regulations on such materials have been made much tougher.

FBI watch list is not a disqualifier. disqualifiers are all subject to due process and judicial order.

there are still plenty of bomb making materials left out therre in grocery store shelves. you just have to understand complex hydrocarbons and agressive oxidizers, and how they interact.
