its BEAUTIFUL here today! we took a lovely ride out of the city, and stopped at the farm store. Going to make sweet potato burritos. i have a recipe with lots of rave reviews, hopefully it turns out well!

Amanda- your masters sounds like what mine was. (was because i started and did not complete). We were reviewing some really interesting topics. I may return at some point.

If the recipe comes out well, please pass it on! I recently discovered my husband loves sweet potatoes.

Anything with cheese added tastes good to me!! hehe, I actually do eat a baked sweet potato with cheddar cheese melted on it . . . so the burrito idea sounds quite tasty! And beans with cheese is good too . . . oops, I think I need to head out to the grocery store to buy some ingredients and try these out!!

And there is another one that is chili potato burritos with regular potatos and no beans . . . still a bunch of cheese though.

Nice feature they have is a button to adjust the number of servings and it changes the recipe!!!

I was excited when I read there was a recipe for sweet potato burrito's but when I saw the recipe I was surprised about all the spice in it. I'll probably try it with some different (not as hot) spices. I'm not too hot on *hot* foods.

Cable guy was here...wow oh wow...there are so many channels and so much to choose from...where do I begin? I think I am going to stay on the sofa all week-end, so much for the cleaning

I am waiting for the cable guy to come. Last night I bought a tv and dvd player. WOW have the prices really dropped for a simple TV! I am sooo excited. I haven't had a TV or cable for 3 years now. let's just hope it doesn't interfer with my obsessive USCIS checking and posting on VJ

Liz, you are so funny.... and again - I don't see how that post was even about you except for the tiniest bit at the end. But then again, everytime we post anything, it's a little bit abt each of us - even if it's just in what we feel for someone else.

Anyhoo, I'm off to work today for a few hours then taking my nephew out shopping for his belated birthday & early Xmas present.

Wish I could ride my scooter, but I will have to bring home laundry and laptop so, not practical today.

I see nothing wrong with this! clean schmean! I was just trying to vacuum but between fighting Pepper to keep the toys in the basket and needing to change the vacuum bag, I don't really see the benefit!

it's worse than that..........right now standard definition tv (or sdtv) is all on sale. why? cause soon the tv channels will be broadcast in hdtv (just over 2 years is the latest i've found). didn't you think it was odd that all those plasma and lcd tvs are hdtv? and expensive too?

oh i knew that was coming. Usually I love new technology- the latest mobile, the latest IPOD tec..but TV? it just doesn't appeal to me. Not sure why
