Hi, i wanna know if i have to get another letter from work and get all my taxes again for the I-864, they got all my copies letter from work, etc etc at the consulate, i dont want any mistakes or get any delays so im all nervious!! Im almost sure the answers is Yes i have to go get together all that papers that he took to juarez!! Also what else can i attach to my form so it can help me be all ready to send my papers??

It's a new process. Start over fresh with anything asked for with the current application, even if it's a repeat from something sent with the petition or provided at the consulate. Put your evidence to support the I-864 with the I-864 form. Don't assume they will even have your old file or bother to dig through it. Make it as easy as possible for them to find your evidence and grant approval.

Clarification on tax info. It is one or the other of these, not both--

  • 2012 form 1040 + any other forms or schedules in the return + W2s (and/or 1099 if your income is reported on that)]
    OR
  • 2012 tax transcript

You only have to provide 2012. (2011 and 2010 are optional) Then provide additional proof like an employment letter or 6 months pay stubs.
