Where can I go to find the poverty guidelines when filing the I-134 affidavit form? My fiancé resides in Jamaica and my parents are sponsoring us, but I would like to cross my T's and dot my I's.

I would also like to ask anyone who has had an interview at the embassy in Kingston, what are some of the questions they ask the foreign fiancé? I'm just curious because I know sometimes they ask reckless questions? I'm just curious. I can't say I'm not scared of the outcome because I am but I'm praying for the best...

You can read the embassy reviews in the Jamaican portal. Most of the time they put down the questions they were asked at the window. Thats the best place to start. Good luck!

The poverty guidelines for the I-134 are different than the I-864. There is info on the travel.gov site which describes what the guidelines are for the I-134. http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/types/types_2994.html

Yes-ish. Keep in mind that most US embassies use the I-865 guidelines (including needing 125% of the poverty line) when it comes to K1 approvals, because the petitioner will need to fill a I-864 soon afterwards, after they marry and do AOS.

Yes, that would make sense. I guess it is embassy specific. I'm going through the Jamaican embassy which is considered a tough embassy.
