Got an RFE for I-864, response was sent on April 9th.. Could someone inform me as to how long NVC takes to respond to I-864 RFE and how long to enter ds-230 in their systems once they have received it? Thanks in advance for your responses..

The RFE responses seem to average 1.5 to 2.5 weeks.

We also had an RFE for our I-864. The person adjudicating one of our three cases could not see that the numbers on an I-864 matched the tax return. We had to respond by sending the EXACT SAME paperwork but it was accepted the second time. It took 10 days so hopefully yours is updated as quickly.

I sure wish I could get the hang of this.. I have not the slightest idea as to what am doing. When I start A new thread how will people know? Since my question was about RFE response should I have selected the "start new topic" option or was it ok to post under the "already existing topic >>>How long for RFE response?"

Is there an easy way to find related updated topics? :help: Please...

Thanks in advance

on the top right you'll notice an "advanced search" Use that to find specifically what you're looking for in the forum. And yes if you want to start a new post or thread, use the "start new topic" button. :) Welcome to VJ!

Also look up in the "my stupid RFE" thread for common mistakes and what people learned.

If you're at the NVC stage, please join the monthly NVC filer's thread. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/422214-nvc-filers-april-2013/

It's a good idea to read the first two posts and all the links. :)
