Hello Everyone,

I need some advise about this process. I filed in August for my parents; my mother got approved 2 weeks ago while my father got a RFE and the requested evidences I have sent to the Vermont Service Center . The RFE is in review mode as of today but I got the letter from the NVC about my mum's case to make the AOS processing fees.

My question is do I have to make 2 AOS processing fee payments separately or do I make only one payment that would cover both parents? Also the attached DS-3032, since it is easier to scan and send it back to me when my parents signs it, does NVC accept copies?

I will be looking forward to your responses. God Bless You all and God Bless America.

The same thing happened to my parents cases. My father's case got approved 2 weeks before my mom's. I waited until my mom's case caught up in NVC & then I set the pace for two petitions at the same time. I paid only ONE AOS FEE for the two petitions. You only pay ONE AOS Fee for multiple cases/petitions. Once you paid the AOS Fee in the payment portal, you will be able to pull up the other case(s). Click on "Related Case(s)" & you will see the other case.

With regards to DS-3032, have the beneficiaries (your parents) email the choice of agent using their email accounts. This is a DS-3032 email template vj link: http://www.visajourn...il_DS-3032_form

My parents just emailed DS-3032 to NVC. They didn't print & scan & email anymore. They just use that template on the message body of the email. NVC accepts emailed DS-3032. It takes approximately 20 business days or less for the DS-3032

acceptance. NVC will email the beneficiaries/applicants that the choice of agent has been accepted. So remember you the petitioner will not received the acceptance email. But you do get emails from NVC( even the beneficiaries as well) afterwards like when they invoiced you for AOS bills & IV Bills.

Instead of going forward with your mom's case at the NVC, you can wait a little bit for your father's case as well. Once you know that both have been assigned NVC case numbers, then you can only make ONE AOS payment for both cases. If you decided not to wait, you will end up paying two (2) AOS fees due to the timing. Someone corrects me if I am wrong.

Each parent is a separate case, separate fees and seperate paperwork and there could even be different outcomes.

Thanks, I will call NVc this morning to confirm.

Thanks, I just had my mum e-mail the letter using that template this morning. I will still accept the signed one from overseas and forward to NVC for surety sake.

I am considering the timing but I don't want to stall my mum's case progress. Decisions Decisions I guess!!
