You said you want the right to pop the mentally ill - you referred to them as nutjobs. You didn't say anything about self defense. You just want to "pop them". You may not have noticed, but you're quite the nutjob yourself. So maybe you start there...

Am I?

Focusing on me in the context of a discussion of those poor poor criminals and nutjobs is pretty par for the liberal, crime-coddling course. Because anything suggestive of getting them off the streets is off-limits. It is off-limits because as I said you LOVE having them on the streets and I have stated this many times and you have yet to deny it.

Unfortunately my views on right to self-defense, which note and newsflash fall within the law and have always fallen within the law, do not constitute the definition of nutjob.

Implying that you are once again in a discussion that you appear to underqualified to be in.

Perhaps a discussion of the rights of convicted felons or privacy rights of dangerous nuts coupled with the neverending search for that one tax or one program or one law that could be passed to make these poor, minsunderstood people just choose not to do what they do would be more appropriate for you to join.

These are the laws we need to get this nonsense ended once and for all. I am glad to see it. Many things we can prevent by being legislatively vigilant. Others are best handled by litigation. We have the legal building blocks to eliminate this nonsense and we will.

The most recent 7th Circuit decision is just the start.

Unfortunately your call to hunt the mentally ill and criminals wasn't talking about self defense. Only after you were called out on your nuttery did you change your tune.

It's a start. We need to get the weapons out of the hands of people not fit to own them. California has the right idea.

The only people against background checks seem to be ones who realize that they would never pass.
