Yay congrats!! I didn't front load in the USCIS stage but i did front loaded during the NVC when I sent in my IV package like you. Give them a lot of evidence beforehand and make their decision easier.

Bro G, I dont knw if you read my embassy review via the link in first post but the answer is right there. I did only light frontloading to USCIS cos we did nt have joint account and all that stuff considering the length of the relationship and distance. I just added few pics then about 6(especially those that we took with people). At NVC is where i did my main frontloading, my abt 20pics or so, rebtel call records(each month I spent abt $125 on rebtel alone) cos email and FB/ skype chats was not hubby's strongest points so we settled for phone calls. We did not go overboard with the frontloading though at NVC, just enough to send a strong message instead of some daunting paperwork and pics to sort through. I hear people say USCIS sends down the entire package they receive from petitioner to NVC. Those pics and relevant documents were returned to hubby after interview,

During the interview he was not asked to show ANY supporting documents. The only one he showed the CO, my 2nd baby ultrasound pics, were done voluntarily when he mentioned I am pregnant and due to give birth in june. He said the CO kept looking at the pictures in the file forwarded by NVCas he was answering his questions. Even the woman who did his document intake at the first stage also admired and commented on one of the wedding pics in the file. I had also briefly mentioned in my cover letter to NVC that all supporting documents should be forwarded down to Lagos Nigeria with the rest of the file.

Thank you my Sister for the response.

I did read the review but I guess I didn't ask the question correctly.

Of the evidences that you sent to USCIS with the I-130, did those specific ones make it to Lagos? If they didn't then I need to redo them for NVC. I am trying no to do that if possible but those are only pictures though (3 albums).

Gowan stop fretting so much. I have been here forever in VJ terms and second petitions are rarely denied in Lagos. ( the ones I know of had VERY good reasons for being denied , including one that had an issue with "another" wife in hiding) Sometimes no amount of frontloading can prevent a denial, such as the one I had ( I have heard that after my filing report through my work that woman is now in Abuja at the visitor visas window) The first time through you can get hit with your spouse being thrown off by the way Lagos treats you ( Most people expect at least courtous behavior ) The second time , you have been approved twice stateside and they had better have real proof in their hand rather that " we think they married for immigration purposes " based on a poorly answered question in their minds. We should all remember that the death trap answer is "I don't know " I have heard first time interviews going down for silly reasons ( questions about the USC's house , car, grade school, siblings spouses names ) The best approach is an answer of some sort. All the frontloading in the world can go out the window with an "I don't know" Both my petitions were front loaded, he knew what my degrees are , he knew the company name where I work and how long but we were blown away the first time with an "I don't know" to their demand of details of what I am working on. ( something he will never be able to answer as long as I have my current job ) Work with your wife on knowing answers or how to avoid those deadly words in her interview.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

Yes the evidences we sent to USCIS did make it to Lagos cos I verified that with Hubhy yesterday. We used more of the court wedding pics during USCIS stage and more of the Church and miscellaneous for NVC and all were returned.

Like Nigeriaoburst said, you should be fine :)

. A friend who is still at the USCIS stage for his wife case was sharing with me about that ' sense of intimidation' being one of the chief causes why most people lose their composure in Lagos. Day after his interview, hubby was sharing how some people were giving the "i don't know" answer and he kept on saying " why would someone give that kind of answer? ". I explained to hm then that there are questions that such answer may just be the most reachable response.Like I said, there will always be that CO who will issue an irrational decision despite all said and done.

God help us all.
