The title and gist of this article are why they lose every time. Yet even though we held them by the nose, bent them over and rammed them...I am somewhat disappointed.

Obviously, I was in the minority but I believed we should have allowed it to pass through the Senate without amendment and then amended it in the House where the concealed carry reciprocity and the computer based, DIY background checks would have passed.

The morons that support gun control would have been in such a tither dancing over their "victory" that when the bill came back to the Senate with the amendments they would almost certainly have to pass it.

Some of the morons that support gun control (the types that think clips and magazines are even similar and use "wikipedia" as a source of firearms information) actually imagined that the "defeat" of the concealed carry reciprocity amendment was a "victory" It was nothing but a way to make sure this never got passed the Senate. Even deep inside, there is no "victory" for the fascists that want to take away our guns. The reaction of most of the gun-grabbers shows this. Obama is not celebrating, neither is Assault rifle owner Gabby Giffords. The NRA supremely kicked their @sses and most people are inteligent enough to realize that. Some people are just stupid. so here is a clue for the stupid f*cktards...when Diane Feinstein goes into hiding and Ted Nugent is singing "God Bless America!"...YOU LOST!

The NRA board, (who was pulling the strings all along, for those too stupid to realize it)decided it was better to shut it down and cut it off at the knees. We will wait for a better day and better congressional make-up. We are patient if nothing else. In the meantime we will continue our litigation efforts where we are making incredible progress. I believe by 2018 there will be SCOTUS rulings that will end this nonsense once and for all. Heller and McDonald are the beginning...not the end. The 7th Circuit ruling that concealed carry is a RIGHT is the third powerful decision.

So, NO NEW FEDERAL GUN LAWS will be passed by this congress. Done. Anyone imagining that it will return before 2018 is simply engaging in mental masturbation. Gun control was placed in the "third rail zone" in 1994. Get over it if you don't like it.

So to review the score of the most recent attempt to take away our rights...In the last 4 months

Obama and the gun control facists got nothing...-0- GFYs! State legisdlation is addressed by litigation. Much more cost effective.

1. NRA gained 30% in membership and is closing in on 6.5 million members

2. NRA's funds swelled with donations! Bloomberg has $12 million less. Maybe next time he will just write a check to the NRA and minimize the damage.

3. Gun sales are out of control! Firearms manufacturers are working 3 shifts. Century Arms, home of the "USA-AK" in Vermont is still running full page ads to hire assemblers and machinists. There are waiting lists up to one year for popular firearms, particularly imaginary "assault rifles" and concealed carry type handguns. There are MILLIONS more new gun owners who will want to defend their rights to own guns in the future.

4. ALL 50 states now have concealed carry

5. States are passing laws requiring guns collected at "buy backs" to be sold through dealers! THAT is too f*cking funny!

6. Several cities passed legislation requiring firearms ownership

All for an attempt on our rights that never had a chance in hell of passing...or reducing crime.

Unfortunately, as usual, Congress has done nothing to protect our CHILDREN and never made any attempt to do so. Had they followed the NRA's suggestions we would at least have some protection for children.
