I guess I look at it the other way. I don't think he would have been elected if he wasn't black. He didn't have any record to run on. President's take all kinds of ####### they don't deserve. Comes with the job.

Has Obama's military record been questioned? Ohh wait. Clinton was called out as some kind of draft dodger. They still to this day think Clinton had something to do with Vince Foster's murder among many other things. Has Obama been made fun of constantly because his English gets mixed up sometimes like Bush did? No, because he's a good speaker. They were merciless with GW Bush.

It really gets tiring hearing the racist drumbeat every time someone thinks Obama is being criticized unfairly. It's starting to sound like some kind of George Jefferson skit where everything bad that happened to him is because of the racist honkys.

Thankfully, I don't think Obama feels that every stupid little piece of criticism that comes his way is some kind of racial conspiracy. I suspect the criticism has more to with him being a Democrat more than anything.

Everytime Obama gets criticized now, the racist flag starts flying all over the place. Granted, it's a good way for his defenders to deflect criticism.

Time after time when folks go on shooting rampages, where is the apologies from Christians? Were there inquiries into the Sandy Hook shooter's religious preference? Or the VA tech shooter? Or the kids from Columbine? But the DC sniper, of course. Terrorists aren't exclusive to just muslims.

I don't think that we should have to, when you have americans that commit horrendous crimes everyday, yet there are no apologies coming.

I think there are people out there that hate Obama simply because he's black. I think it's a pretty insignificant minority though. What kills me is that because there's some nutters out there that question his birth certificate or act like an idiot when he's giving a speech, it get's labelled as racism. It's a cop-out and a convenient way to avoid discussing some of his failed policies. I personally think him being black was more of an asset to him getting elected than a liability. I also think alot of people used their vote as a way to erase racist guilt. They could say "Hey I voted for Obama, I'm not racist!"

I can see in the future if a female is elected president, people will be crying that she is being treated unfairly because she is a woman.

It's another example of people wanting to be treated equally, but then using racism as a way to deflect criticism. Eventually you have to let your actions and policies stand on their own, and not fall back on the racist card. I think Obama himself has done that. Alot of his supporters unfortunately, have not.

Frankly, his total lack of any kind of experience worried me more than anything. I think he's done a good job in alot of areas. Specifically foreign policy. Economic and domestic policies, not so much. But that's just my opinion.

Using your logic, show me how when Andres Breivek killed Norwegians in the name of Jesus, he wasn't a radical Christian. Christians all over denied that his act had anything to do with Christianity, and they were right. Why is it that non-Muslims think they get to decide what Islam is, who practices it, and what its relationship is to terrorism when they don't apply the same methodology to nutters among their own ranks or allow outsiders to define them and their faith.

White guys who murder aren't identified by their faith, so, there is no consideration of whether it paid a part in their demented acts. There is no evidence that these WHITE GUYS (they are White) did anything for Islam. In fact, their acts are more analogous to James Holmes, who killed more people, or the members of the IRA, who killed to defend their homeland; they were Chesnyans, after all.

I guess it could go both ways, in that area. I do believe it's a larger number than you might think. Now, I might be wrong but I can't recall any government officials that had to apologize to Bush for saying something offensive. Yet with Obama, there were quite a few. Tar baby, Shuck and Jive, Banana eating jungle monkey, like I said, there used to be a restraint before, no one would ask the President to show his papers before, it was inconceivable. To interrupt the president when he was speaking at the house by yelling you lie wasn't a reality. Calling him boy, knowing the history with that word and how it's used with black people in general, same goes with Shuck and Jive, do you think Ms. Palin did that on purpose?
