On the interview notice under the items you must bring with you to the interview it states:

"A completed medical examination (Form I-693) and vaccination supplement in a seal envelope (unless already submitted)."

We sent in copies of all medical forms from the Visa medical exam with the AOS application. Do we now need to get the I-693 completed or is bringing copies of what we already sent in sufficient? Has anyone successfully completed the interview without I-693?

I just read the instructions for Form I-693 and it says that this form is not required if Form I-485 is filed within one year of overseas medical examination and if the vaccination record (DS 3025) was properly completed and included in the original medical exam report. Both of these apply to us so we should not need the I-693. Just a little worried about why they are asking us to bring the form to the interview. Should I just bring a copy of the I-693 instructions to show we don't need it? Has anyone else in the same situation successfully completed the interview?

It is a general letter sent to everyone. If you already sent in copies of your medical forms and had all the required vaccinations at the time of your K-1 medical marked off on the DS-3025, then no need to go get the I-693 now.

It is always possible to get an RFE, but instead of spending the money and going through the hassle of finding a civil surgeon that will do only the vaccinations transcription, I would wait and see if they even ask you for one at the interview. You might be good to go without it.

And yes, people have been approved without an I-693 from a civil surgeon and just sending in a copy of their DS-3025.

The DS-3025 being marked 'complete' is not the only way it is accepted. It is rare to have one marked 'complete' since many of the vaccinations are not age appropriate, or you only got one in a series. This post explains it in more detail.
