CEAC.STATE.GOV status reverted after saying "Issued"

Hi All,

It's been an anxious 24 hours for me. I've been on necessary admin processing for my CR1 visa for 5 months now. Like many, I've been checking the CEAC site multiple times a day (sometimes multiple times a minute). On April 12, The status said the usual "Administrative Processing", and then on April 18, I saw the status said "Issued", with a status updated date of April 18. I was overjoyed that my wait had come to an end. However, every time I checked after that one instance-- I noticed the status has reverted to the April 12 date.

Initially, I thought maybe my web browser's cache was pulling in old data, and I've retried the site through every internet device possible, and it still shows the status from April 12! I'm pretty sure I wasn't hallucinating last night. I just hope it wasn't a cruel joke. I can only wait until the status is updated again. Has anyone else encountered this?

Uhmm a bit strange..! Best thing you can do is to call NVC and ask them..! A call is way better than that bs site.

i called dos yesterday and was told that the ceac.state.gov website is new and there was something unstable about it and it may not truly reflect what is really going on as to your case.

sadly, you have to call the department of state to confirm and hopefully the "issued" is real and you get your visa pretty soon.
