They also generally mind their own business. Others, not so much. My experience. There's definitely something missing in that article. Probably the race angle. Which is strange for NYDN they are always race baiting. And yes the Jewish community has butted heads with certain members of the Black and Hispanic communities for years. Nothing new.

It would do us all some good watching 'Crash' every once in a while.

Yeah yeah we get it. Muslims are also victims of hate crimes too. What should be focused on here is that hate crimes of any type should not be tolerated......period. I bet if i try hard enough I can find a few hate crimes against whities.

It was in response to Sarah and Adnan who said she didn't get an NYDN article about her incident - I'm saying that they've covered at least some incidents.

Sheesh.

Yeah yeah we get it. Muslims are also victims of hate crimes too. What should be focused on here is that hate crimes of any type should not be tolerated......period. I bet if i try hard enough I can find a few hate crimes against whities.

I am 2nd gen Russian. White as white can be. Natural blond and blue eyed. I was attacked for my supposed affiliation with Arabs. Much as I love NYC and lived here my whole life I know it can sometimes be a cesspool of nutjobs of all colors and sorts.

It would do us all some good watching 'Crash' every once in a while.

Forget hate crimes -- violent crimes of any kind should not be tolerated. Whatever someone's motivation is for doing something like this, such a person needs to know that such behavior is never okay. Maybe if the parents told their kids "killing is wrong" more often... :hehe:
