My wife is about to appy for Adjustment of Status after arriving on a K-1 visa. On the I-485 form it states that persons who came over on a K-1 and had a medical examination within the past year (which she did), do not need to have the entire medical report/exam done. The only thing that she needs to submit is a VACCINATION SUPPLEMENT (which I have in my possession).

My wife is 8 months pregnant and can't take these vaccinations and will not be able to take them for awhile b/c she will be nursing our child after he is born.

I have an appointment scheduled with the Civil Surgeon in our area to have her exam.

Does anybody know if it is acceptable for the Doctor to simply state on the supplement paperwork that she is pregnant and therefore cannot participate in the immunizations?

Just want to know if anybody knows this from experience.

Did she get her immunization when she had her medical examination? Or was she already pregnant then?

If she did, you could just show the civil surgeon the record she got then. Civil surgeon then will fill the Vaccination Supplement for you based on that record.

If she has any record of immunization from her prior medical, that should be sufficient. She shouldn't need to be vaccinated again.

However, if she does need additional vaccines, she can waive any required due to pregnancy, but she will eventually need to get them, possibly before her AOS interview.

divorced - April 2010 moved back to Ontario May 2010 and surrendered green card

PLEASE DO NOT PRIVATE MESSAGE ME OR EMAIL ME. I HAVE NO IDEA ABOUT CURRENT US IMMIGRATION PROCEDURES!!!!!

+ She was already pregnant when she had her medical examination.

+ She has a couple of cards that show the vaccinations that she got and the vaccinations that she needs

+ She has a couple cards that she recieved from Brazil so we are going to take these to the Civil Surgeon so that he can fill out the supplement.
