They are both originals from the government so I assume they are official. If you're talking about the translations she will have them completed at the notary (gong zheng chu). What's needed for the single status? I haven't read that's it necessary as she's never been married.

My fiancé never married either but he had his notarized. I think you can find out from the guangzhou consulate website p4 instructions.

Yes I guess there is an official paper from the Chinese government that states that you are single. I guess some employers require it and also if you get married and are from different provinces. So since she can get that at the same place as the translations, she will also get that. Even though its not asked for on the P4 instructions specifically, it would be good to have.

Yes so we are scheduled for June 25 for the interview. Everything's paid and ready to go. We paid with a Chinese debit card by the way, not even hers, she had a friend log onto the website and pay no problem with that.

Since she has the appointment document she's going to do the medical check next week.

So all we need is to receive P3, return it, and get the email we need to take with us.

It's somewhat out of order, but I think as long as we get P3 soon, we'll be okay.

You can pay the visa fee online?

My appointment scheduling page on CGI stanley always says "there are currently no available appointments", did this happen to you right after visa payment? Thanks!

Okey. Another girl who just past the interview told me she was turned away when she forgot to bring the email. Hopefully you are right so I can have my fiancé to do it now.

Just to follow up on this...

Lili went to the exam today, she said it wasn't the appointment letter from the website or email they asked her for, but another form that was included in packet 3.

So we are fortunate she received it before going for the exam.

I'm not sure exactly, she just said they asked for something that was in packet 3 and she was glad she brought those papers with her.

I don't know if they took the form or if they just had to look at it.

She's without internet until the weekend. But I'll try to find out more information when she's back online, its kind of difficult to discuss specifics over the phone.

My guess is the cover letter, which says the consulate can begin to process your fiancee visa case now.

Just a guess but thanks to your mentioning I'll also bring everything that's left from P3 to my medical exam tomorrow. Big big thanks

It was indeed the packet 3 cover letter. Maybe its to make sure you've received it before having the exam.
