Hi guys,

For some members who had just filed their AOS. I arrived here in US thru K1 & K2 (with our son). We married last nov 7. We already submitted the AOS docs 2 days ago. I am really not yet sure about this process that's why our case was being handled by an immigration consultant, i would like to know after submitting the docs what are the next steps that I should do.

Question#2: about the medical, what is the process of going to a ciil surgeon for medical.

I was too late in reading your post. The docs that I submitted to the USCIS was lacking my husband pay stubs coz according to our consultant W2 & letter from employer will do. I hope you cud share me ur timelines also & your experiences. One step at a time please.

Thnak you.

regards, myyulia

Claudeth needed a tetanus shot so we had the civil surgeon do that along with the supplemental. They did want to have an xray done so I whipped out the one she had from the medical before the interview. I suggest you shop around for a CS, the prices can vary considerably. I believe we paid about $70 for everything.

I would give you the link to find a CS but the link I have and the one referenced at the USCIS web site doesn't work

Good luck

Hopefully the direct link works: http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis/tem...00048f3d6a1RCRD

If not... go to http://www.uscis.gov/portal/site/uscis ... then Search for "civil surgeon"... the first link in the results page should lead you to the directory of civil surgoens.

Once you've found the ones near you, call them up and see how much each charge for whatever forms/exams you need.
