Someone's got Christmas on the brain!

I don't want anything for Christmas. Some of you already know that I'm not too big into gifts. I'll be getting gifts for all the kids in my family, but big people get nada.

I just love Christmas!

My parents asked me what I want but I don't really want or need anything so we'll see. Last time I told them that I got a new TV!

David has a huge music collection (he's a professional saxophone player) and the piddly little stereo system I have will not do it all justice. So we're going to buy a system that will serve as our treat to each other.

8-30-05 Met David at a restaurant in Germany

3-28-06 David 'officially' proposed

4-26-06 I-129F mailed

9-25-06 Interview: APPROVED!

10-16-06 Flt to US, POE Detroit

11-5-06 Married

7-2-07 Green card received

9-12-08 Filed for divorce

12-5-08 Court hearing - divorce final

A great marriage is not when the "perfect couple" comes together.

It is when an imperfect couple learns to enjoy their differences.

OMG Jazzman, I didn't even know that many hearts were possible! - and such huge ones!

We'll probably buy a new kitchen sink faucet as our joint gift (ours got damaged in the laundry room renovation and spits water everywhere which Abdel hates when he does dishes), but I don't care if I get anything from Abdel for Christmas now, the surprise jewelry was enough for our anniversary and Christmas. He is looking at a coat so we'll probably get that for him. I wanted to get him one last year but we couldn't find one he liked that was small enough.

We drew names this year so I have one of my brothers and Abdel has the other. He's happy about that because he got my brother that takes him fishing and stuff. I really want to buy for his family, but he wants to get out of debt more first and then send them a big package all at once. They celebrate Christmas too so I really hope he changes his mind and lets us send something.

Abdel finally got his raise this week! That is good news too. Now he has more to send to his family every month.

We bought a house. :dancing: I guess that is an early Christmas present for both of us. The closing is on Monday and we move after Thanksgiving. I am getting Hachemi an xbox 360. I would like to have a laptop computer since Hachemi has taken over my desktop. :hehe:
